Statutory withdrawal right
Under Saudi Arabia’s E-Commerce Law, customers may withdraw from an order within seven days of contracting without giving a reason, unless they have started benefiting from the service.
The withdrawal right does not apply in two cases: where work begins with the customer’s explicit consent before the withdrawal period ends, to the extent of work performed; or where deliverables are designed or produced specifically to the customer’s specifications. In these cases, cancellation and refund provisions apply according to the stage of work.
On withdrawal or eligibility for a refund, the amount due is returned to the original payment method through the payment provider within the statutory period. For installment orders, the refund goes through the same provider (Tabby or Tamara), which adjusts remaining installments or returns amounts paid according to its terms.
Before work begins
Customers may request cancellation before work begins. If payment has been made and the customer has not begun benefiting from the service, refunds are handled according to statutory rights and the accepted order terms.
STK Lite does not apply a blanket no-refund policy to all services. Treatment depends on the stage of work, delivered outputs and non-waivable rights. Amounts due are returned through the payment provider to the original payment method within the statutory period, or through an alternative method agreed with the customer if that is not possible.
After work begins
For cancellation after work starts, the STK Lite team explains completed work and associated costs and proposes fair treatment of the unperformed portion according to the contract and applicable laws.
This does not limit customers’ rights to remedies for defects or nonconformity. Stages and approvals are documented to establish what has been delivered and accepted.
Delays and refunds
Customers are notified of any anticipated material delay. Statutory rights apply when agreed timelines are exceeded. Amounts due are refunded to the original payment method through the provider within the statutory period, or through an alternative method agreed with the customer if that is not possible.
How to request withdrawal or a refund
Send withdrawal, cancellation or refund requests to support@stk.sa with your order reference. Do not send order access codes or card details. We acknowledge the request and explain the proposed treatment and any amount due.
